Moving Do's and Dont's

Do	Don't
Owner should move plants to the new location.	Don’t pack boxes too full or overflowing, it’s best to simply use an extra box
Owner should move all personal, sentimental items, jewelry, checkbooks to the new location.	Don’t block hallways with boxes or other items.
Small odds and ends such as clocks, glassware and ceramics should be carefully protected by packing paper, bubble wrap or soft tissue packing paper, and placed inside cartons.	Don’t leave the job site unless another person is available to answer move questions at all times.
All cartons should be taped and sealed shut on both top and bottom.	Don’t leave any glass, china or silverware in a buffet or china cabinet.
Pictures and mirrors should be carefully packed or crated by owner.	Empty all desk drawers
Owner should be available to assist the movers as to where the furniture should be placed in each room of your home
